Gunners resume title bid with home game at Emirates Stadium
Arsenal face Brighton as they resume their Premier League title bid.
The Gunners were top of the Premier League at Christmas but could kick-off in second place if Manchester City win at Nottingham Forest in the early kick-off.
Mikel Arteta’s side now face a key run of games in the title race and they could welcome Kai Havertz back from injury against Brighton.
Here’s everything you need to know about the game…
Arsenal vs Brighton is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
The match will take place at the Emirates Stadium.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will not be televised live as it lands during the 3pm Saturday blackout.
Live blog: You can follow all the action on Standard Sport’s live blog, with expert insight from Matt Verri at the ground.
Free highlights: The Sky Sports app and YouTube channel will show highlights from 5.15pm with Match of the Day broadcasting on BBC One at 10.25pm.
Arsenal are still without several key players due to injury, but they could have Havertz back in the squad.
Gabriel is still out with the injury he sustained while playing for Brazil in November.
Piero Hincapie is a doubt after picking up a knock against Everton.
Ben White and Cristhian Mosquera are sidelined but Gabriel Martinelli is expected to be fit after sustaining a knock in the Carabao Cup win over Crystal Palace before Christmas.
For Brighton, Jan Paul van Hecke, Danny Welbeck and Mats Wieffer are all set to return.
Lewis Dunk and Diego Gomez are back from suspension. Carlos Baleba is at AFCON.
Brighton are a tricky customer and could fancy their chances with the number of players that Arsenal have out, but they themselves are missing some key names too.
The Gunners have managed to grind out wins even when not playing well in recent weeks, and should get the job done here again.
