Odegaard did not travel to Germany in midweek for the Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen but Mikel Arteta did not rule him out of the match against Everton.

The same goes for Leandro Trossard, who missed the Leverkusen game with a minor issue he picked up in the FA Cup tie against Mansfield.

"Let's see," Arsenal boss Arteta said of the potential availability of Odegaard and Trossard at his pre-Everton press conference on Friday.

"We will have to wait and see, speak to the doctors on whether they are involved or not."

With such a hectic fixture list, Arsenal could be cautious with the pair and give them minutes off the bench if they are passed fit.

Arteta might be tempted to freshen up his side after an unconvincing display in Leverkusen.

Kai Havertz scored the equaliser off the bench on Wednesday night and could potentially get the nod to start at No10 over Eberechi Eze, having previously shown signs of a positive relationship with Viktor Gyokeres.

In defence, Ben White is fit again but Jurrien Timber looks likely to keep his place.

Riccardo Calafiori is an option to come in at left-back in place of Piero Hincapie, who has played a lot of games recently. Mikel Merino remains out after foot surgery.
