Mikel Arteta may look to experiment with one of his stars
Mikel Arteta is considering whether to start Bukayo Saka in midfield for Arsenal when they travel to face Wolves on Wednesday night.
Arteta used Saka in that role against Wigan in the FA Cup last time out and he impressed in that 45-minute experiment.
The pair could both return in time for the north London derby against Tottenham on Sunday, but this match comes too soon and Arteta could therefore turn to Saka to fill in.
That would allow Noni Madueke, who has scored three goals in his last five appearances, to keep his place on the right wing.
However, Arteta could opt to stick with Saka out wide and give Eberechi Eze the nod at No10.
Eze was subbed off after only 45 minutes against Brentford last week, but enjoyed a confidence-boosting display in the win over Wigan with a couple of impressive assists.
Riccardo Calafiori pulled out of the warm-up ahead of the Wigan match but has since trained and is available to face Wolves.
Ben White went off late in the FA Cup victory, but Arteta confirmed that the defender is in contention to feature at Molineux.
"He did a lot in the game and by the end of it he was feeling a bit of tightness in the hamstring, but he's fine," Arteta said.
Viktor Gyokeres has scored six goals in his last ten appearances and is likely to come in for Gabriel Jesus to lead the line.
Predicted Arsenal XI (4-2-3-1): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie; Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Eze, Trossard; Gyokeres
Injured: Odegaard, Havertz, Merino
Doubts: Dowman
