Arteta confirms Arsenal trio are out of Champions League game against Inter

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Piero Hincapie, Riccardo Calafiori and Max Dowman will miss out again when Arsenal face Inter Milan on Tuesday.

Hincapie has missed the last three games with a groin injury, while Calafiori has been been absent for seven games with a muscle problem.

Dowman, meanwhile, has an ankle injury.

None are yet fit enough to take part in the Gunners’ Champions League clash with Inter, but Kai Havertz and Christhian Mosquera are both involved once again after their recent injuries.

Arsenal are top of the Champions League league stage standings going into the game and Arteta says his side have a big opportunity ahead of them.

“When you have the opportunity to achieve something, you have to grab it,” he said.

“We’re really going to have to earn it against a top, top side. We know that.”
