A return to AS Roma is becoming more likely for Francesco Totti. The club’s former icon has admitted that discussions are underway with management about taking on a new role.

Absent from the club’s hierarchy since hanging up his boots, Totti has never cut ties with his beloved team. “It’s true that we’re talking. We’re trying to find the best solution,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

The idea of a comeback was first floated by Claudio Ranieri. Totti also confirmed that he has met with new head coach Gian Piero Gasperini to discuss the club’s future.
