However, they will take confidence from their latest result — a convincing 3–0 win at home against Pisa, where Donyell Malen scored a hat-trick. While their away performances have been inconsistent, Roma have been strong at the Olimpico, winning 11 home games this season and remaining unbeaten there in their last nine league matches.

Roma are dealing with a few injury crises, leaving manager Gian Piero Gasperini short of options.

Lorenzo Pellegrini is ruled out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury, while Manu Kone is also unavailable.

In attack, Paulo Dybala is sidelined after knee surgery, and Artem Dovbyk is expected to miss the rest of the season with a muscle injury. Evan Ferguson and Wesley are also out.
