Pervis Estupinan looks increasingly likely to leave Milan, with Aston Villa pushing hard to take the left-back to the Premier League.
According to The Telegraph, as relayed by MilanNews24, talks between the two clubs are at an advanced stage, and Villa are confident of wrapping up the deal quickly.
The Ecuadorian, a 1998-born former Brighton man, has been identified as the ideal replacement for Lucas Digne, whose imminent move to Paris Saint-Germain leaves Unai Emery’s side short on the left flank.
Villa want their new full-back in place for the earliest days of pre-season ahead of a demanding campaign.
From Milan’s perspective, the sale makes sense on several fronts.
Estupinan failed to convince during his season at San Siro, and his departure would represent a meaningful boost both to the balance sheet and to squad planning, with any proceeds earmarked for reinvestment in other areas of the pitch.

The Rossoneri are not rushing blindly, though: before sanctioning the exit, the club want certainty that his replacement is ready to compete immediately at Serie A level and meet the defensive standards Ruben Amorim demands.
The move would continue the sweeping reshaping of Milan’s back line this summer, with Mario Gila already arrived from Lazio, Strasbourg’s Guéla Doué courted, and Fikayo Tomori’s future the subject of Juventus interest, a defence being rebuilt almost wholesale in Amorim’s image.
