Aston Villa ‘to consider’ Jack Grealish return as Leyton Orient ‘in talks’ for Gilchrist | OneFootball

The Sun reports that Aston Villa are considering a move to re-sign former winger Jack Grealish, adding that Atletico Madrid are monitoring the 30-year-old and that returns to Everton or Villa are possible. Sky Sports reports that Leyton Orient are in discussions over a deal for West Brom right-back Alfie Gilchrist.

Grealish left Villa for Manchester City in 2021 in a £100million transfer and has since won three Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one Champions League.

He spent last season on loan at Everton, where a foot injury in January curtailed his campaign.

Gilchrist, 22, joined Albion from Chelsea last summer for £1.2million plus add-ons.

He made 15 appearances in all competitions last season, including 13 in the Championship.
