Sought-after wingback Marco Palestra commented on the possibility of joining runaway Serie A giants Inter Milan in the summer.

During his recent interview, the Cagliari loanee discussed his immediate future amid growing interest from the Nerazzurri, as reported by FCInterNews.

“The most important thing is to secure our survival. Rumors are flying, and it’s nice to be linked with big clubs, but we’ll see what happens in the summer.

“I’m 100% focused on Cagliari – they deserve it. Then, with my agents, we’ll make the best decision for the future, but I don’t want to think about that right now.”

Then, he discussed possible areas for improvement.

“I have a lot of room for growth. At 21, that’s only natural. I need to improve in just about everything.

“I’ve been in Serie A for two years now, and I have a lot of work to do – my teammates and the coach are always there to help me.”
