Atalanta to play Bayern Munich in Champions League Round of 16 | OneFootball

Atalanta have been drawn against Bayern Munich in the Champions League Round of 16, the sole Italian side left in the competition.

According to Football Italia, the tie was set at today’s draw in Nyon, with Atalanta to host the first leg because Bayern were seeded.

The matches are scheduled for 10/11 and 17/18 March 2026, with the full fixture list to be released tonight. The winner will face Real Madrid or Manchester City in the quarter-finals.

Atalanta sit seventh in Serie A on 45 points, while Bayern lead the Bundesliga with 60, eight ahead of Borussia Dortmund.

Raffaele Palladino’s team reached the last 16 by overcoming Borussia Dortmund in the knockout play-off. They lost 2-0 in Germany before turning it around 4-1 in Bergamo a week later.

Elsewhere, Roma and Bologna remain in the Europa League, and Fiorentina are still in the Conference League.
