Athletico-PR reject €18 million bid for Viveros amid Flamengo interest | OneFootball

Athletico-PR have rejected an offer worth €18 million, about R$ 89 million at current rates, for Colombian forward Viveros, who is on the radar of Brazilian clubs including Flamengo.

The identity of the bidder was not disclosed. GE reports that Flamengo and Corinthians are monitoring the striker’s situation. Athletico-PR chose not to pursue talks, aiming to improve his salary, with a deal running until June 2028.

Viveros joined Athletico-PR in 2025 from Atlético Nacional. The club paid around €5 million, R$ 27.5 million at the time, for 70% of his economic rights. He was pivotal in the campaign that secured promotion to Série A.

In 2026, the Colombian has seven goals in 14 matches.

Meanwhile, Flamengo prepare for Sunday 26, when they face Atlético-MG in the Brasileirão at Arena MRV. Kick-off is at 20:30 Brasília time.
