Ange-Yoan Bonny cannot find comfort after Inter Milan suffered a last-minute defeat at Atletico Madrid last night.
Speaking to Prime Video via FCInterNews, the Frenchman revealed his feelings after another disappointing result.
Inter Milan had hoped to bounce back from Sunday’s upset in the Milan derby.
However, Los Colchoneros scraped their way to victory, scoring a 93rd-minute winner to topple the Nerazzurri.
Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu chose Bonny to partner with Lautaro Martinez in the final third over Marcus Thuram.
Despite failing to score in his first Champions League start, the French center-forward didn’t let his team down.
Indeed, the 22-year-old set up Piotr Zielinski for Inter’s equalizer at the beginning of the second half.
Therefore, Ange-Yoan Bonny now boasts five assists in all competitions, establishing himself as the club’s top creator.
Unfortunately, his contribution was not enough to prevent Atletico from inflicting Chivu’s first coaching defeat in Europe.

Bonny, who spent 65 minutes on the pitch, left a telling impression.
In addition to adding another assist to his ever-growing tally, the Frenchman was far more involved in the build-up than Lautaro.
However, Chivu took him off midway through the second half, introducing Thuram.
“We were close to winning, you could see it today,” Bonny said after the match. “We’re disappointed, it hurts.”
Then, he reflected on his performance at the Metropolitano.
“Everyone wants to play in the Champions League,” he continued. “It’s a dream.
“After that, there’s the pitch, and that’s where I try to give my best.
“Today, we had everything, that’s why there’s disappointment.”
Finally, he admitted that he had yet to speak with his teammates after the loss.
Asked whether the Nerazzurri stars had spoken to each other in the dressing room, he replied: “No, nothing yet.”
