Atlético Madrid ‘exploring’ deal for Porto star | OneFootball

The transfer team at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have begun exploring the terms of a potential deal for FC Porto talent William Gomes.

Gomes, for his part, is a 20-year-old attacker, who chiefly operates on the right flank.

The Brazilian, who has long been held in high regard in his home country, is fresh off something of a breakout campaign on the books of the aforementioned Porto.

Despite his tender years, Gomes was afforded a considerable 46 appearances across all competitions.

And along the way, the starlet racked up an altogether respectable 13 goals, alongside a pair of assists.

Such exploits have not gone unnoticed across the continent, with a whole host of clubs understood to be keeping a close eye on Gomes’ development.

And as alluded to above, this week, one such suitor have stepped up their pursuit…

‘Atlético Madrid exploring deal for 20-year-old winger William Gomes from FC Porto. Initial contacts took place with Atléti interested and decision up to FC Porto.’
