La Liga giants Atlético Madrid are closing on a transfer deal for talented Stuttgart star Enzo Millot.
That’s according to market insider Florian Plettenberg, who has on Sunday provided a fresh insight into the situation.
The subject of transfers has of course continued to dominate the headlines at the Metropolitano across the week to date.
This comes after the altogether productive summer window being enjoyed by the Atlético brass ramped up yet further, by way of deals for both Marc Pubill, and Dávid Hancko.
These add to the previous signings of all of Juan Musso, Thiago Almada, Matteo Ruggeri, Johnny Cardoso and Álex Baena.
And yet, if the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, then the capital outfit appear from from done there.
As per a report from the aforementioned Florian Plettenberg of Sky:
‘Atlético Madrid are now pushing to sign Enzo Millot, with advanced talks already having taken place. Stuttgart have given the green light for negotiations between Millot and Atlético. That’s also why he was absent from yesterday‘s friendly match. VfB are expecting his move to Atlético to go through. His release clause for that transfer is around €23 million.’
France international Millot is fresh off a stellar season on the books of Stuttgart, which saw the 23-year-old rack up 20 goal contributions in 43 appearances across all competitions.
