Atlético Mineiro host Remo in the Brasileirão on Wednesday, 11 February 2026 in Belo Horizonte, with both chasing a first league win to climb away from the bottom places.
Atlético Mineiro won both 2021 national cup meetings between the sides, home and away, and arrive level with Remo on one point from two league games.
Atlético-MG opened with a 2-2 draw against Palmeiras before a 1-0 defeat at RB Bragantino, scoring twice and conceding three so far. Leão Azul lost 2-0 at Vitória then drew 2-2 with Mirassol, leaving them on the same tally with four conceded.
Galo are without defenders Lyanco and Alexsander through injury. Leão Azul also report injury absences in Sávio António Alves and Patrick, trimming options in defence and midfield.
Galo may lean on attacking quality from Hulk, Gustavo Scarpa and Mateo Casierra, with width from Renan Lodi or Ángelo Preciado. Leão Azul could look to the control of Cantillo and Panagiotis Tachtsidis in midfield, while Yago Pikachu and Alef Manga offer outlets to test transitions.
Galo sit 14th on one point and a win could lift them towards mid-table. Leão Azul are 18th in the relegation zone and three points could move them out of the bottom four.
