Midfielder Oussama El-Azzouzi and defender Clément Akpa are suspended. Sinaly Diomandé, Sekou Mara, Elisha Owusu and Telli Siwé are injured, with hamstring problems for Diomandé and Owusu, an ankle issue for Mara and a knee injury for Siwé.

Pelissier said they had anticipated losing players to international duty, but had not foreseen further losses through suspensions and injuries.

He was speaking on Friday at his pre-match press conference. In total, AJA are without eight players for Monaco’s visit.
