Leon Bailey got off to the worst possible start in his Roma career, sustaining a muscular injury in his first training session after the transfer from Aston Villa.
The Jamaica international only flew in yesterday to undergo his medical tests and put pen to paper on the contract this morning.
It is a loan at a reported cost of €3m with option to buy for a further €20m plus €2m in add-ons.

Bailey had his first training session today, but Sky Sport Italia report that at the end of the exercises, he stopped and clutched his leg.
The extent of the problem is not yet clear, but there are already fears he might not be able to make his debut for the Giallorossi until after the break for international duty.
He had quite a few injury issues last season with Aston Villa, once again they were largely muscular in nature.
The attacking winger celebrated his 28th birthday earlier this month.
