The weekend is approaching, and Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma are preparing for a tough away trip to Cagliari against Pisacane’s team.
After losing yet another direct clash 1-0 last Sunday against Napoli, the Roman side are eager to bounce back immediately without losing further ground on the top spot, which is currently just one point behind.
The Sardinians, meanwhile, are coming off two defeats against Juventus in the league and Napoli in the Coppa Italia despite two excellent performances.
As for Roma, the Giallorossi trained regularly at Trigoria this morning, and Dybala, who had been absent with a fever in recent days, returned to the pitch but underwent individual training.
Baldanzi, however, is out: the Tuscan midfielder had to withdraw due to a bout of flu but should be able to recover for this weekend’s match.
The match against the Sardinians will be played on Sunday, December 7th at 3:00 PM at the Unipol Domus.
The Giallorossi drew 0-0 in their last match on Sardinian soil.
In addition to the injured Angelino and Dovbyk, Gasperini is expected to have his entire squad available for the trip to Unipol Domus.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s men face a string of matches in a few days between now and the end of December: Cagliari, Celtic, Como, Juventus, and Genoa are the Roman side’s opponents over the next 25 days.
