PSG has made a major statement following the release of the nominees for the upcoming Ballon d'Or, setting a new record ahead of Real Madrid.

France Football unveiled its eagerly awaited list of 30 Ballon d’Or nominees this Thursday. It was only natural to expect a strong PSG presence after a truly spectacular season from the Parisian side.

No fewer than nine PSG players have made the top 30—almost the entire starting eleven. The list includes Donnarumma, Hakimi, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Joâo Neves, Fabian Ruiz, Doué, Kvara, and Dembélé. This marks a record for the most players from a single team making the Ballon d'Or top 30.

In fact, PSG boasts one more nominee than Real Madrid did during their historic 2018 campaign.
