Weeks ago, Achraf Hakimi did not hesitate to share his ambitions for the 2025 Ballon d'Or. But in the end, the Moroccan international only finished sixth in the rankings. According to the Atlas Lion's inner circle, however, the disappointment isn't too bitter. "Finishing among the world's top six players is already a great source of pride," his camp told the daily L'Equipe on Tuesday.
