Ousmane Dembélé had sparked speculation a few days ago with his Instagram story. He posted a snippet from Tiakola's track Formidable: “I didn’t wait for things to come to me to see my dreams come true…” However, the media outlet organizing the event has reportedly not revealed anything so far.

Vincent Garcia, director of France Football, is determined to keep complete secrecy over the Ballon d'Or until September 22. No photo shoots, no early documentaries, and above all: no winner informed ahead of time. This marks a major shift from previous years, when clubs and players often knew in advance. It’s also a way to avoid last season’s fiasco, when Real Madrid was absent after Vinicius lost out to Rodri.
