Barbara Bonansea renews! | OneFootball

Onwards, together! Barbara Bonansea has renewed her contract with Juventus Women until 30 June, 2026, with an option in place for a further year that would take her through to 2027.

This renewal comes as confirmation of Bonansea’s importance to the team, which has been undeniable this season, both on and off the field.

Barbara has been with us since the first day of the Juventus Women project back in the summer of 2017, having grown up in Turin and then going on to be an iconic figure of Italian women’s football with Brescia. She quickly became a pillar of the side, helping the Bianconere to win several trophies.

A Juventus supporter since her youth, Bonansea achieved the milestone of making 200 appearances for the club this season, and has scored 91 goals in her time with us.

She was also the first-ever Juventus goalscorer in Serie A back on 30 September, 2017, against Mozzanica, and the author of our first two Women’s Champions League goals in a 2-2 draw with Brondby on 12 September, 2018.
