The Spanish national team have sparked fresh anger behind the scenes at La Liga champions Barcelona late this week.

That’s according to Tot Costa, who confirm that as much comes owing to La Roja’s treatment of Dani Olmo.

Midfielder Olmo has of course seen his name emerge as a prominent one in the headlines in Barcelona across the day to date.

This comes after the 27-year-old was forced to depart Luis de la Fuente’s Spain squad through injury.

Olmo is set to undergo a round of medical tests in Catalunya’s capital over the days ahead, ahead of a potential incoming spell on the sidelines.

And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then those back in Barcelona have been left less than impressed by these developments.

As per a report from Tot Costa, just weeks on from Lamine Yamal suffering an injury setback whilst on international duty, the Blaugrana sent a medical report regarding Olmo’s wellbeing to the RFEF.

This came to make clear the fact that the attacking midfielder was suffering from serious fatigue.

Upon learning of Olmo being injured in training, Hansi Flick and co. were therefore left bemused and angry with the lack of care taken by Luis de la Fuente and his staff.
