Barcelona, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be monitoring Julián Álvarez after a standout campaign at Atlético Madrid, according to SuperDepor.com.

The Argentina forward has 19 goals and nine assists in 47 appearances this season, and he was influential in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Barcelona are closing in on back-to-back LaLiga titles. Although they exited in the Champions League quarter-finals, they have rebuilt respect on the European stage.

Arsenal have been central to this season, which could end with enormous joy or one of the biggest failures in their history. The Premier League title was seemingly assured to end a 22-year wait, but recent weeks have complicated matters and they now go head to head with Manchester City.

They are also in the Champions League semi-finals, where they will face Álvarez’s Atlético Madrid, though their recent displays have raised more doubts than certainties.

Paris Saint-Germain are, at present, the best team in the world. They won their first Champions League last season, were heavily beaten in the Club World Cup final, then quickly reset to chase a repeat in Europe’s top club competition.
