Raphinha was one of the standout figures at the Mundo Deportivo Grand Gala, where the Barcelona forward was awarded the prestigious CUPRA Trophy.
The ceremony was not just about individual recognition, but also served as a platform for the Brazilian to show his growing bond with the club and his satisfaction with life in Barcelona.
Speaking on stage after receiving the award, Raphinha reflected on his journey since arriving at the club and made it clear that things are finally falling into place for him.
The winger openly expressed how meaningful this moment was, both personally and professionally, as he continues to establish himself as a key figure at Barcelona.
Addressing the audience, Raphinha first spoke about achieving what he set out to do when he joined the club, saying,
“It’s what I’ve been looking for since I arrived at this club. I’m very happy to be able to do what I wanted.”
While the night was celebratory, the Brazilian also addressed concerns about his physical condition.
Raphinha is set to miss Barcelona’s upcoming Copa del Rey fixture against Albacete due to fatigue, a decision taken by the coaching staff as a precaution rather than a serious concern.

Before easing any doubts, he explained that his condition is under control and that the break should be brief.
Providing clarity on his situation, the winger added,
“I’m a little tired, but I’m fine. In theory, it will only be for a short time. I’m trying to recover so I can get back on the field as soon as possible.”
Another moment that caught attention during the gala was Barcelona mayor Jaume Collboni’s announcement that the Spotify Camp Nou could be proposed as the venue for the 2030 World Cup final.
Asked about the possibility, Raphinha chose to focus on the present rather than looking too far ahead.
Sharing his thoughts, the forward said, “I’m someone who lives day to day.
“The 2030 World Cup is a long way off, but I take good care of myself and try to be at my best at all times.
“We don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but it could happen,” he concluded.
