Barcelona will once again look to pick up smart signings from the free-agent market come the summer of 2025 and have already identified some interesting targets.

Indeed, names like Jonathan Tah, Jonathan David, and Reinildo Mandava have been touted as possible targets for the La Liga leaders.

Furthermore, Bayern Munich left-back and Real Madrid target Alphonso Davies is also on the Blaugrana’s agenda.

Kimmich, Sane no longer priorities

Along with Davies, Barcelona have held a long-standing interest in two other Bayern Munich stars – Joshua Kimmich and Leroy Sane.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have cooled down their interest in the German duo and no longer see them as priority targets.

Both Kimmich and Sane also have contracts that expire in the summer of 2025 and were understood to be on Barça’s radars.

While the interest in Sane has not been as strong, Kimmich has been on the Blaugrana’s agenda for a long time now.

However, the Bayern Munich pair is no longer considered a priority as Barcelona believe they have more than enough quality options in the positions.

The emergence of Marc Casado and Marc Bernal means Barça are well-stocked in the midfield department. Furthermore, Kimmich is also now considering a renewal with Bayern.

As for Sane, with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha shining this season, there would be no place for the German winger either.

So, Barcelona, while keeping tabs on Davies, have cooled off their pursuit of his two Bayern Munich teammates.
