Pedro joined Chelsea last summer from Brighton in a deal worth up to £60m and has had a successful first season at Stamford Bridge.

With seven league games remaining he’s scored 18 goals in all competitions, with 14 of those coming in the league.

Barcelona interested in Joao Pedro

Pedro is in the running to be Chelsea’s Player of the Year, and there’s certainly a conversation to be had about him possibly being signing of the season.

The Brazil international has made the number nine role his own, despite the Blues also signing Liam Delap, but the England under-21 international has really struggled this season.

Pedro has been brilliant under Liam Rosenior, although he’s been unable to help recently, with the Blues goalless in their last three games, and on a run of four consecutive defeats.

However, it appears Pedro’s form hasn’t gone unnoticed and according to Phillips via his Substack Barcelona have serious interest in the Brazilian.

Robert Lewandowski looks like he could move on at the end of the season leaving Barcelona short of options up front, and it’ll be interesting if anything happens with their reported interest in Pedro.
