Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeness has laughed off suggestions that Harry Kane could leave the club this summer.
Kane scored a hat-trick as Bayern beat VfB Stuttgart 3-0 to win the DFB-Pokal on Saturday, completing the club's first German double since 2020.
The England captain became the third player to score a hat-trick in the German Cup final and the first to do it since Dirk Kurtenbach in 1987.
His treble took Kane to 61 goals in 51 games for Bayern Munich across all competitions this season. He has become only the third player to score 60 goals in a top-five league club season this century, alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Barcelona have been linked with a bold move to sign the 32-year-old, as the club hunt a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, but Hoeness has dismissed that suggestion.
“Kane is one of the besttransfers we ever made and he’s staying. Barcelona have no money anyway," he told Das Erste.
Kane has now scored 146 goals in 147 games since signing for Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023.
It's a move that has delivered the team silverware that eluded him in North London, with back-to-backBundesliga titles and this season's DFB-Pokal success.
His hat-trick against Stuttgart concluded what has been a career-best campaign for the forward, who said it will be a memory he remembers 'forever'.
"Knockout games this year have been big," Kane told Premier Sports.
"I've been able to help the team in a lot of situations, they've been able to help me.
"Going into this final, I felt it was my responsibility as much as anyone's to get us over the line. I know I'm going to get chances, and I did again today.
"To score a hat-trick in a final is such a special feeling. It's just memories that I'll remember forever."
