Barcelona have ‘strong interest’ in signing of Juventus star | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have set sights on the signature of Juventus star Andrea Cambiaso ahead of the summer.

This comes amid the Blaugrana’s ongoing search for reinforcements at full-back.

In the thick of ongoing speculation surrounding the futures of both Alejandro Balde and Jules Koundé, the Camp Nou brass are keeping a close eye on the market for potential replacements.

A shortlist of full-back targets has in turn been drawn up by Deco and co. And as alluded to above, early this week, the identity of one such target has been revealed.

As per a report from Italian transfer insider Gianluigi Longari:

‘Barcelona’s strong interest in Juventus’ Andrea Cambiaso is confirmed.’

Cambiaso, for his part, is a 26-year-old Italian international, capable of playing on either flank as a traditional full-back, or wing-back.

Across the season to date, the former Genoa talent has racked up three goals and four assists across 40 appearances in all competitions.
