As things stand, Marcus Rashford is only realistic signing than Barcelona can make in January, although it is far from certain that a deal will be done. An offer has yet to be presented to Manchester United because the Catalan club have yet to raise the funds required, but if they wait much longer, they could miss out altogether.

As per Sport, Borussia Dortmund have made their move for Rashford, and the proposal that has been submitted is the best that has been received by Man United. However, the player himself is not yet committing, as his desire would be to play for Barcelona during the second half of the season.

Rashford’s will certainly buys some time for Barcelona, but they must close a significant departure as soon as possible if they are to make a move for the English attacker. As things stand, Ansu Fati is the player that they want to part ways with, although an exit is not close presently.
