The info comes courtesy of market insider Fabrizio Romano, and confirms that, as of this moment, there is ‘nothing at all’ between the parties.

The name of midfielder Fermín has emerged as a prominent one in the Spanish media headlines over recent days.

This comes amid the understanding that, amid ongoing efforts to return to a more stable financial footing, the Camp Nou brass have opened the door to a potential sale for the 22-year-old.

A host of clubs from across the continent, in turn, have been credited with an interest in his signature.

Chief among them are the aforementioned Manchester United, who it is claimed would be willing to spend big to land Fermín this month.

As alluded to above, however, if the latest update on the situation to have surfaced on Sunday is anything to go by, then there is little reason to believe that such a transfer is in fact on the cards.
