According to an update from Matteo Moretto in MARCA, Premier League sides Wolves and West Ham are closely monitoring the situation of Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado.

The 21-year-old has become one of the most talked-about names at Barça this summer after his impressive rise last season.

In fact, reports suggest that an offer in the region of €30 million is not ruled out before the window closes, although the player’s priority remains clear that he wants to continue at Barcelona.

Casado’s development has been rapid, and his style of play has caught the eye of several European clubs. However, his position within the Blaugrana squad for the 2025/26 season is uncertain.

With stiff competition for minutes in midfield, there is a risk he could find himself with limited opportunities. This uncertainty has only fuelled speculation around his future, but Casado himself has never pushed for a move.

Casado determined to succeed at Barcelona

Real Betis were among the first clubs to register an interest in the young pivot after losing Johnny Cardoso to Atletico Madrid. Yet the operation was practically impossible.

Barça made it clear they would not consider offers under €30 million, while Casado himself showed no desire to leave.

Even when strong interest came earlier in the summer from Premier League clubs and Atlético Madrid, his stance was the same that he wants to stay and fight for his place.

For Casado, wearing the Barcelona shirt is more than just a career choice, it is the fulfilment of a dream.

He understands that securing a regular starting role will be extremely difficult, but his determination to succeed at the club is unwavering.

Now, with Wolves and West Ham circling, Barcelona may see a bidding war emerge for their academy product.

However, unless a huge offer arrives that changes the club’s stance, Casado looks set to stay, continuing his fight to earn the trust of Hansi Flick and prove his worth in Barcelona’s midfield.
