Over the past couple of days, rumours surrounding the future of FC Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado have been growing relentlessly.

The Blaugrana are still fighting to register some of their players, and the exit of the 21-year-old La Masia graduate could go a long way in easing the situation with regard to Fair Play.

Casado will not leave unless club tells him

However, according to La Vanguardia, Casado does not want to leave Barcelona at this point despite attracting strong interest.

In his words, at Barça, “they have to kick you out”, so unless told otherwise, he will continue to fight for his chances.

Casado has multiple offers on the table: from Como in Serie A, from Real Betis in La Liga, and from the Premier League, including Wolverhampton Wanderers – a move pushed by Joan Laporta’s close aide and superagent, Jorge Mendes.

However, for now, Barcelona have not opened the doors for the sale and have not asked him to leave, although they are willing to listen to offers from those seeking more playing time.

Casado, who did not play a single minute in Mallorca, has already spoken with Deco about his situation.

He knows opportunities will be scarce, that Frenkie de Jong, close to renewing, is tough competition, that Pedri is untouchable, and that both Gavi and Marc Bernal are ahead in the pecking order.

But until and unless the Catalans specifically tell him to leave, the midfielder will not consider the possibility of an exit and is willing to stay and fight for his spot in the team.
