Barcelona were able to get back to winning ways thanks to a 3-1 victory over Deportivo Alaves at Camp Nou.
There were many positives to take from coach Hansi Flick, including Dani Olmo’s superlative performance, as well as Raphinha and Pedri getting more action on the pitch.
Although Flick wasn’t too happy with Barcelona’s performance and consistency, the German tactician had one more reason to be upset with the game.
According to SPORT, the Barcelona coaching staff is very angry about the refereeing during Saturday’s match.
Even though they won, the club feels they were treated unfairly by referee Miguel Angel Ortiz Arias.
The main issue is the red cards shown to the coaching staff. Assistants Jose Ramon de la Fuente and Marcus Sorg were both sent off during the tense final part of the game.

The team blames the fourth official for these decisions. They feel he did not communicate well when things got heated.
Flick does not understand why the officials are targeting his bench, as there have been several red cards recently that he thinks were not deserved.
The frustration was not just about the red cards. The Barcelona bench was also angry because the referee ignored two possible penalties.
First, Lamine Yamal went down in the box and was left in pain, but the referee did not check it. Later, there was another incident involving Olmo that was also waved away without a VAR review.
These decisions made Flick very upset. To make matters worse, the red cards mean his assistants will be banned, leaving Flick completely alone for the next game against Atletico Madrid.
