This match had been circled as a potential return date for Olmo, and with his recent performance in training, all signs point towards him being ready to contribute.

However, the final call will be made after the last training session before the game. The medical team, in consultation with coach Hansi Flick, will assess Olmo’s condition one last time to ensure there’s no risk of re-injury.

On another note, Gavi, who had to leave the field during the match against Alavés due to a head collision with Conechny, did not join the group training session as a precautionary measure. His status remains uncertain for the upcoming fixture.
