It has been almost two years since Dani Olmo returned to Barcelona and the jury is still out as to whether or not he has been a successful signing for the Catalans.
While the playmaker has undeniably shown glimpses of his talent, he has been held back by a series of injuries, which eventually led to speculation about his long-term future at the club.
Aware of the speculation, Saudi Arabian outfit Al Qadsiah were among the clubs interested in acquiring the services of the former RB Leipzig starlet.
According to Diario SPORT, Dani Olmo was approached by Al Qadsiah, which is home to star footballers such as Nacho Fernandez, Koen Casteels and Julian Weigl.
Not more than a month and a half ago, the Saudi Arabian outfit were ready to make a lucrative offer for Olmo, which would have made him one of the highest-paid Spanish footballers.

Al Qadsiah were willing to offer a package of around €9.5 million per year, a figure that even Lamine Yamal fails to earn at Barcelona.
The total package was worth around €40 million, spread across four years. It was an offer that was difficult to refuse for most players.
The Saudi outfit were also prepared to submit an offer of around €60 million to try and convince Barcelona to offload the playmaker.
However, it was Dani Olmo who rejected the advances of Al Qadsiah. The playmaker simply had one goal in mind: To succeed at Barcelona.
This was not the first time Olmo rejected advances from other clubs, as the player has turned down offers from Premier League and Ligue 1 clubs in the past, only to continue at Barcelona.
