Barcelona ready to listen to summer offers for under-fire attacker | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are prepared to listen to proposals for an oft-criticised member of the club’s attacking ranks this summer.

That’s according to club insider Blaugrana insider Samuel Marsden, who has on Tuesday provided an insight into developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

The player who appears to be inching towards the exit ramp at the Spotify Camp Nou comes in the form of Ferran Torres.

Frontman Ferran is for his part in the midst of a solid season numbers-wise, with 16 goals to his name aross all competitions.

As has proven the case since his arrival in Barcelona from Manchester City, however, the 26-year-old’s all-round game has time-and-time again been questioned.

Not only that, but at present, Ferran finds himself in the midst of an 11-match goalless streak.

And such shortcomings, it would appear, have not gone overlooked on the part of those in the boardroom at the Camp Nou.

As per a report from ESPN:

‘Barcelona are considering an attacking shake-up this summer which would include listening to offers for Ferran Torres.’

Ahead of the expiration of his contract terms in the summer of 2027, Deco and co. are keen to take advantage of their final opportunity to secure a significant fee for Ferran’s services.
