La Liga giants Barcelona are putting into place the necessary financial parameters to move forward with an offer for Liverpool star Luis Díaz this summer.
That’s according to Diario Sport, citing Antena 2 in Díaz’s home country of Colombia, who have this week provided a fresh insight into the future of the attacker.
Díaz, of course, has been tipped as a potential arrival in Catalunya’s capital for some time now.
Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, Deco and the Barcelona transfer team are understood to have earmarked the former Porto man as a leading target.
So much so that, according to Sport, a joining of forces between the two parties this summer can be considered a legitimate possibility.
Amid the suggestion that Díaz has set his sights firmly on a Camp Nou switch, it is confirmed:
‘Joan Laporta would be in favour of signing Luis Díaz and he would be in a position to put 70 million euros on the table. An offer that is considered more than adequate to negotiate with Liverpool.’
