Barcelona reject midfielder transfer offer | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona recently knocked back an offer for midfield star Marc Casadó. This comes with the Blaugrana having been unsatisfied with the financial terms put before them.

Casadó, for his part, is widely expected to bring a permanent close to his time on the books of Barcelona before the summer is out.

Deemed surplus to requirements by manager Hansi Flick, the 22-year-old is aware that his entourage is fielding proposals from across Europe and beyond for his signature.

And one such bid, as alluded to above, was recently rejected by those in a position of power at the Spotify Camp Nou. As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘Barça have already rejected an offer that doesn’t meet their financial demands.’

The Blaugrana, it is added, have informed Casadó’s suitors that, owing to the rising fees being paid for player transfers this summer, they have increased their demands for the Spanish international to €40 million.
