Barcelona’s summer planning is already in motion, and while much of the attention has been on central defence and attack, the full-back positions are becoming an area of focus.
With uncertainty surrounding potential departures and the need for squad depth, the club is actively monitoring options across Europe.
One name that continues to gain traction is Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso.
After initial links emerged, a fresh report from SPORT has now provided further clarity on the situation, including a potential price tag that Barcelona would need to consider.
Barcelona are not necessarily desperate to sign a full-back, but they are preparing for all scenarios, such as the potential departure of Alejandro Balde.
Should there be any unexpected exits in the defensive unit, the club want to be ready with a list of targets who fit their tactical and financial criteria.
Cambiaso is one such player. Highly rated by the sporting department, the Italian international is seen as a versatile and technically reliable option who could adapt well to Hansi Flick’s system.

Now, according to the report, Juventus value Cambiaso at around €50 million.
However, that figure could be negotiable, particularly if Barcelona were to include a player as part of the deal.
Despite being a regular starter, Cambiaso is not considered untouchable at Juventus.
The Italian club is looking to generate funds in order to reshape their squad this summer, meaning they could be open to a sale if the right offer arrives.
There are also indications that the player himself would be open to a move.
This is because after last summer’s failed transfer to Manchester City, relations between Cambiaso’s camp and the club reportedly became strained.
This has only increased the likelihood of a departure under the right conditions and Barcelona can try their luck.
