Barcelona star Eric García has on Saturday revealed his appreciation for the talents of teammate Pedri.

This comes after the pair continued their impressive midfield partnership in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.

Hansi Flick’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Osasuna to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, Barca emerged on the right side of a 2-0 result, courtesy of a brace from captain Raphinha.

In the eyes of many of those watching on, though, it was Pedri who was in fact the star of the show.

Elegant, decisive, and quality-personified, the Spanish international was at his brilliant best across the 90 minutes on Saturday.

And as alluded to above, such excellence did not go at all unappreciated on the part of Pedri’s engine room partner, Eric García.

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle at the Spotify Camp Nou, Eric, fresh off his latest fine showing, admitted:

“Playing alongside Pedri is a blessing, absolutely! The truth is that when things get a bit complicated, you pass the ball to Pedri and he solves everything.”
