A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona could be set for an altogether frustrating campaign in 2025/26.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Marc Casadó as the player in question.

Youngster Casadó is for his part of course fresh off a breakout campaign on the books of Barcelona.

Afforded a prominent role by new Blaugrana headmaster Hansi Flick, the 21-year-old took full advantage, shining from his berth at the base of midfield.

Casadó’s excellence in possession was complemented by a never-say-die attitude off the ball, culminating in a complete midfield package.

And yet, if the latest word stemming from the media this week is anything to go by, game time could prove tough to come by for the Spanish international in Catalunya’s capital next season.

As per a report from Sport:

‘In principle, he will not enjoy many minutes after the renewal of De Jong and the bet on Marc Bernal.’

For this reason, in the case of a big-money offer arriving for his signature, it is not out of the question that Casadó could be sold.
