Premier League outfit West Ham United are considering a proposal to sign Barcelona starlet Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández.
That’s according to Fichajes, who have confirmed that the Hammers are weighing up as much with a view to the 2026/27 campaign.
Dro’s talents have long been drawing admiring glances from across the continent, with West Ham just the latest club credited with an interest in his signature.
Still just 17, the attacking midfielder, who is also capable of lining out on the wing, is now considered a full-time member of Hansi Flick’s first-team setup at Barcelona.
Aware of the challenges which await him in carving out a regular starting place, though, Dro could yet be tempted by a more prominent role elsewhere.
And it is precisely this situation which the aforementioned West Ham are hopeful of taking advantage of.
As per a report from Fichajes, the London-based outfit are keen to lay out their project and long-term plans to the young Spaniard.
From here, a €20 million offer could follow next summer.
It remains to be seen, however, whether either Dro himself, or Barcelona, have any interest in going their separate ways any time soon.
