Barcelona star wanted by AC Milan in January | OneFootball

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has made his way onto the transfer radar of Italian giants AC Milan ahead of the January transfer window.

This comes amid an ongoing search on the part of the Rossoneri for a proven goalscorer.

According to SportItalia (as cited by Diario Sport), the board at San Siro have already gone as far as to make contact with Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi.

As much came with a view to gathering information on the feasibility of a mid-season transfer.

Lewandowski, however, has made clear that his priority remains Barcelona, with the Pole happy to see out his contract terms before finding a new home next summer.

Milan are expected to remain informed when it comes to Lewandowski’s plans for next season, too, having not ruled out the possibility of bringing in the veteran attacker on a free transfer.

Massimiliano Allegri and co. have seen first-hand the impact made by Luka Modrić in Serie A, and are keen to repeat the trick with ‘Lewa’ in the near future.
