Barcelona star wins La Liga Player of the Month | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at Barcelona has on Friday secured for himself a prestigious individual prize.

This comes amid confirmation of Lamine Yamal being named La Liga Player of the Month for April.

Wide-man Lamine is for his part of course in the midst of a difficult week to date, fresh off seeing his campaign brought to a premature end.

After suffering a hamstring injury during a league meeting with Celta Vigo, an ensuing round of medical tests confirmed that the 18-year-old will not take to the pitch again before the summer.

As alluded to above, though, this has not stopped Lamine from continuing to collect silverware…

The young winger took to the pitch on three occasions in La Liga across the month to date, racking up four direct goal contributions along the way.

This included the winning goal against Celta on Wednesday.

And such exploits have proven enough to see Lamine beat out the competition, to secure the award for April’s La Liga Player of the Month.
