FC Barcelona have made up their mind to secure the services of Marcus Rashford from Manchester United on a permanent basis in the summer.
Having signed the 28-year-old forward on loan from the Red Devils, the Blaugrana have been left impressed by his performances so far this season.
Barça have a €30 million purchase clause in their agreement with Manchester United for the England international for the summer transfer window.
Now, according to Matteo Moretto on Radio MARCA, Barcelona and Manchester United have begun negotiations over a permanent transfer for Rashford in the summer.
While the Blaugrana remain intent on acquiring his services on a permanent basis, they do not wish to pay the full €30 million price. They wish to pay a little lower than the amount that was agreed upon last summer.

Meanwhile, Michael Carrick, the current interim manager of Manchester United, wants to bring Rashford back to Old Trafford, provided he is handed the job permanently at the end of the season.
However, the forward has his heart set on staying at Barcelona beyond the ongoing campaign, as he feels settled and is happy at the Catalan club.
Currently sidelined with injury, Rashford has registered ten goals and 13 assists from 34 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona.
With negotiations now taking place between the Blaugrana and the Red Devils, it remains to be seen what kind of an arrangement the two clubs arrive at as Rashford seeks a permanent switch.
