Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal announces Nicki Nicole breakup | OneFootball

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Saturday publicly announced that he and popstar Nicki Nicole are no longer a couple.

The 18-year-old confirmed the news to Javi Hoyos in ‘D Corazón’ (as cited by Diario Sport).

Refuting claims across the week to date that he had cheated on Nicole – an Argentine muscial artist – Lamine explained:

“We are not together. It has not been because of any infidelity. We have simply separated and that’s it. Everything that is coming out has nothing to do with our relationship.”

Those of a Barcelona persuasion will of course be hopeful that his recent personal drama does not impact the level of Lamine’s performances on the pitch.

The winger has been singled out for criticism for several of his recent showings, particularly that produced against Real Madrid last weekend.

This comes as Lamine continues to deal with a chronic case of pubalgia in his groin.
