Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski has increasingly become a target for Serie A clubs. His free agent status after the deal with Barcelona expires has been particularly tempting but it feels like a deal will be rather difficult.

If anything, it is a move to Turin that appears unlikely.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi was in Italy today, discussing his client’s future.

He has a very good relationship with Juve and several topics were discussed, with Lewandowski’s future also a point of discussion. The Bianconeri have a lot of admiration for the veteran but they didn’t delve deep into his future.

This seems like a sign that they aren’t exactly keen on the Pole, mainly due to his age and hefty wage demands.

Zahavi also spoke to Milan about the Barcelona player and will also soon speak to the Catalans about a renewal.

As far as the Bianconeri go, the decision is probably wise. Dusan Vlahovic’s contract runs out in the summer and he will depart on a free transfer. The objective should ideally be to sign a striker who is fit and earns less than the Serbian and offers possible high potential too.

Despite Lewandowski’s quality, he is probably the exact opposite.
