Barra v Corinthians breaks Ressacada 2026 attendance record in Copa do Brasil first leg

Barra v Corinthians’ Copa do Brasil first leg drew Ressacada’s biggest crowd of 2026, with more than 14,000 in Florianópolis on Tuesday.

According to Globo.com, it surpassed the previous best set by Avaí v Figueirense in the Recopa Catarinense, which attracted about 10,000.

The fixture also produced the stadium’s highest gate of the season, R$ 2,620,420. Corinthians fans formed the majority, occupying all six sectors allocated to them, while the Pescador had only two.

Ressacada hosted the tie because Arena Barra FC holds approximately 5,500. The CBF requires a minimum capacity of 10,000 from this phase of the competition.

Corinthians won 1-0. The second leg is on 14 May at Neo Química Arena.
