Bayer Leverkusen host Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League tonight. They will do so without a familiar face to French football fans, Martin Terrier.

A lot has been made of PSG’s injury crisis this season, with players such as Désiré Doué, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé, Joao Neves, and Fabian Ruiz all spending time on the sidelines. The latter two remain absent for the reigning Champions League champions.

But PSG are not the only club contending with an injury crisis and Bayer Leverkusen are without plenty of players themselves. Martin Terrier and Jonas Hofmann aren’t in the Bundesliga side’s UCL squad. It was already known that Exequiel Palacios and Axel Tape would be absent.

On Monday, Kasper Hjumland revealed that Nathan Tella, Malik Tilman, and Lucas Vazquez would all also miss out this evening. France international Loic Badé, meanwhile, will start at centre-back.
